What is Paint Protection Film?
Paint Protection Film is a near invisible thin polyurethane film that can be applied to your vehicle, creating an extra layer of protection to your car paint. Historically, these protection films were used in the 1980’s to protect helicopter rotor blades from damage and chipping. The technology evolved over the years and gained widespread popularity in the automotive industry as the most effective material to protect the car paint from physical impact including stone chips and minor contact accidents.
How is Car Paint Protection Film applied?
Applying PPF is a highly skilled process. Within the automotive industry, there are two main ways to apply PPF, which is by using Template or Bulk-Fit.
Template Cut is done by using readily available patterns from the software database and Paint Protection Film cut using a plotter to the exact measurements for each specific panels of the vehicle. We use the latest software and databases that to ensure the best coverage and fitment for your vehicle.
The Bulk-Fit method requires trimming/cutting the PPF to shape as they are applied on the vehicle. This method can provide better coverage in most cases where many installers are uncomfortable with.

The full front package is the best value-for-money option.
The full front end includes the bonnet, front guards, bumper and headlights (edges wrapped-edge where possible).
This option is the superior option that protects the entire front end of the vehicle from oncoming road debris. A full front removes the edge lines associated by a partial front end PPF install.

TRACK PACKAGE

This package is an extension and upgrade from the full front end option by adding high impact areas like side skirts, side mirrors, and A pillars.
This package is flexible as many car designs differ meaning some cars may require pieces for the rear quarters or different coverage for the side skirts.
This package provides the best coverage for protection from oncoming road debris which is also suitable for vehicles that does a lot of highway and country drives.

FULL WRAP
The full wrap is the most comprehensive and in-demand option available for protecting your car. Every painted panels and areas such as grills, side mirrors, B-pillars are included in the package.
Depending on the vehicles design and software templates, we will often discuss the option of removing badges, door handles, vents with the owner to provide better coverage. These extra steps would allow a better installation result.
Due to the size of the job, it is vital that you organise ample time for the job to get done and also your own transport as we will need up to a week for the PPF installation on your vehicle.
More complex vehicles such as supercars often have many components in the templates covering aero packages like diffusers and fins may incur higher costs as the installation will take more time.
Colour change PPF wraps also incur higher costs due to the complexity in installation.
